A few creations

One of my best friends is getting married this weekend. Unfortunately, I will not be able to go to the wedding, because we already had plans to go out of town, when they decided a month ago to finally get married. They have been together 7 yrs. and have 4 kids. Her colors are white and red, so I wanted to make a special and elegant card for them for their gift basket I made.

The gift basket had a personalized bottle of wine with their date on it, 8 candles, candy, a picture frame with I Do on it, and an accordion album that I made.

Busy, busy, busy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but man life has been busy. I have been doing s few great swaps and getting the reality games going. My furbaby has been very sick and we had to make an emergency trip to an all night vet that was 45 mins away at 2 in the morning this past Sat. He is doing much better now thank God. We were so scared.

I am in the process of going through pictures for 5-8 scrapbooks for the VFW that I will be making. I have hundreds of pics to sort going as far back as the early 90's so far. I printed over 200 just for 2007! I have to make a scrapbook for the Aux. president and one for her twin sister that is our commander and then the other pics will go into scrapbooks that will be in the bar/club area that our members can look through. And I am creating a blog for them.

Here are pics of the inchie swap that I participated in. The inchies I created are the birdie in the 1st pic and the BOO ghost in the 3rd pic.

I used watercolor paper, embossed the inchie with my cuttlebug and then watercolored it with CTMH inks.

I used mat board, stamped the black image and used embossing powder, then rubbed glue over the white area and sprinkled with glitter. Then added wiggly eyes!

TTFN and Thanks for looking!

Finally, back online!!!!

Well, last Sunday we got the remnants of Ike here in Ohio in the form of 75 mph winds. It was really wild outside, the wind was swirling in all directions. Trees are down everywhere, a section of my fence blew down and my daycare kids sand and water table went end over end through the back yard. I never lost power, but I did lose cable/internet for a week. Some people are still without power a week later. So I am trying to get caught up on over 600 emails and the reality scrap games. We still need players, if anyone wants to have fun a get new scrap goodies, join us.
