Swaps completed!

Well, I finally finshed my Tech. swaps and shipped them out yesterday. I had to change one of my tech choices from bleaching to kissing, because I had major problems with bleaching. I could not for the life of me get it to work right. I stamped an image, then embossed it, and painted bleach over the top, hoping to bleach out the neg. space. It didn't work, it just made the inked image bleed and bleached it out. Very strange.

Then I tried using a bleach pen and stamping an image with bleach and all it did was dry.

So I changed to the kissing tech. which truned out very cool!

Loving the weekend!

I am so eager for the weekend to start. It should be a relaxing one....FINALLY!
I am going to the winery tonight with my parents and other family.

My daughter and I are spending most of Sat. with some friends, we are going to see some exotic animals at a local animal farm (I will get to pet Llamas (I love Llamas!) and see kangaroos, and a giraffe!) Not common animals to Ohio.

Sunday myself, daughter and my Mom are cooking breakfast at the VFW for all of the Father's and then I will spend the day creating paper crafts and having a cookout with Dad!

Welcome to my first blog post!
Well, what am I creating at this time????

I am working on a technique swap: I have 3 categories that I am creating and I have to make 11 of each one.
Punches (I have finished this one), Toilet Paper casting (I am currently waiting for my TP to dry LOL) and Bleaching (I have a really great design for this one.)

I am involved in an ongoing Card Puzzler swap. This has been so much fun. Someone sends you pieces to a card and you try to figure out what matches their design. It is great to see what all of the other ladies come up with. Everyone is so creative.

I will post pics of my first 2 cards and the punches technique card ater this week.
