Projects and using scraps
We were having a car show at Jim Wroda Auctions where I work. The visitors were voting on "Best of Show" and the registration fees and any donations were benefiting "The Darke County Cancer Society."
I need to make paint cans for the voting and donations. I used the "Stand & Salute" Cricut cartridge to make the ribbons and the "Storybook" cartridge for the Thank You And the ribbon was also from a cartridge, but I don't remember which one, sorry. All of the ribbons except for 2 were made using scraps that I had saved from other projects! WooHoo on Recycling!
The Cancer can:
Then I had all of these wonderful little rounded triangles left over and wondered what I could possibly do with them. Because I hate to throw useful scraps away....I know, Make Flowers!! I came up with this design, I inked the background with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and made the stem with the Sew Easy tool and stitched the stems with embroidery floss.
So Ladies, Save your scraps in an organized manner and use them when you can to make something beautiful!
