Organizing my unmounted stamps

Hello my friendly blog readers Smiley from millan.net !

I desperately needed to organize my unmounted stamps. I have Stampin' Up stamps, and several of those wonderfully addictive $1 stamps. And they were all shoved in this drawer and rarely used Smiley from millan.net.
and under these was a basket with SU stamps and the ones I unmounted from wood blocks.

Several months ago I purchased this lovely little stamp holder from Little Monkeys and finally used it. Very well worth the money.
I didn't purchase the little stamp inserts, because when I removed the acetate sheet they stick right on the page.

My SU stamps and red rubber stamps.

This is the end result, I am soooo happy Smiley from millan.net! I stuck my large sets of clear stamps behind the monkey sleeves.
Now I have all these little sheets of acetate, any suggestions on what to do with them? Please leave me a comment with any ideas.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Military Scrapbooking Supplies

Hello my fellow creators!

I just discovered a  wonderful shopping site and all they sell are Military Scrapbook Supplies! I am the historian for my VFW and my local stores only carry a small variety of Military supplies, so I am EXTREMELY thrilled with this store. And I know several of my readers have family and friends that are in the service so, I thought I should share with you. Please pop over and check them out Military Scrapbooking Supplies.

A mini card using distressing embossing powder

I have recently been making mini cards and having so much fun. Here is a card that I made for a friend.

Card base is craft paper cardstock.
Pattern paper punched with a Martha punch.
Heart is stamped on watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Distressing Embossing Powders. (my newest fav)
I tore around the image, then watercolored it, a smaller piece of watercolor paper and card base with Distressing Inks.
Fibers are CTMH.
Used foam dots to give it dimension.
I made the envelope out of a gift bag from the dollar tree.

I will have another post in a day or two on organizing my stamp sets.
